Roscoe was president of the Austral Union in South
America and then pastor of the College View Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. He is the father in-law of D. F. Haynes.

This collection contains many articles and newspaper clippings documenting Haynes’ evangelistic series and other events in his life. There are also numerous photographs. The original collection, as received, contained three boxes of music books which were not retained in the collection. There was a combination of sacred and secular music. Haynes and his family were obvious quite active in the music scene, but the music seemed to bear little relevance to this collection.
