Max Hill (1881-1951), a native of Missouri, was a lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He graduated from Pacific Union College, and then worked in the Adventist educational system for many years. He served as principal of the Sanitarium Church School, Napa, California. Later he superintended the Seventhday Adventist schools in the Missouri Conference. Hill also served in the editorial department of the Signs of the Times at the Pacific Press Publishing Association. Hill served the church in many other ways particularly in connection with the Sabbath School and youth.
