- Existence: Mar 9, 1829 to Aug 31, 1911
Hiram Addison Craw (Mar 9, 1829 to Aug 31, 1911) was one of the early pioneers of Wood County, Ohio, and for many years one of its prominent farmers. In Feb 1858, Hiram Craw, his wife, mother, and sister accepted the Seventh-day Adventist faith.
Craw is remembered especially due to a letter written to him from Ellen G. White dated on Feb 24, 1904 (Letter 103, 1904). In this letter Mrs. White asks Craw to lend her some money for the work. She then goes on to tell about her own giving activities. From what we know Craw, though financially well situated, never lent the money.
