Edward A. Sutherland Collection

Content Description

This personal collection contains some Sutherland family materials and letters as well as a portion of his prolific writing and presentation output. Sutherland was a trustee of two estates, papers of which are included here. The estates are those of John S. Cominns and Mary and Ellen Woodworth. Also included are some clippings and a few personal artifacts.

The source of the bulk of this collection is not known. Additional materials came into it from the several Madison-related collections held by the Center. The original materials likely came in the 1980s while the newest additions came in 2013 from the Madison College Alumni Association.
