Content Description
Floyd Greenleaf was commissioned, in the closing years of the 20th century, by the General Conference Education Department to write a history of the Adventist Education around the world. The resulting book is, "In Passion for the World : A History of Seventh-day Adventist Education," [LC586 .S48 G74 2005] published by Pacific Press Publishing Association in 2005. This is the focus of this collection. This collection consists of personal notes and lectures notes of Floyd Greenleaf, photocopies of periodicals and books of other authors, printed and handwritten reports and interview transcription, and correspondence. The general topic is Adventist education around the world. A number of folders on Latin America were transferred to another Greenleaf collection–see Collection 236--at the Center for Adventist Research We felt they fit better in the other collection. The folder titles are noted at the end of this register.
