The Roy Allan Anderson papers are a wide ranging group of records collected over the years by Elder Anderson. He was a successful evangelist, administrator, and teacher. Through the years he accumulated a large collection touching on most of the major areas of church interest and controversy. These include preaching, worship, music in the church, studies in the books of Daniel and Revelation, <title>Questions on Doctrine,</title> and the Desmond Ford controversy. The collection contains published and unpublished records in the following categories: correspondence, personal documents, writings, class materials, sermon and lecture notes, topical files, and photographs.

Soon after Roy Allan Anderson died in December 1985, the Adventist Heritage Center curator was invited, by Mrs. Anderson, to come to Loma Linda, California, to go through the personal papers of Elder Anderson. This collection is what was brought to Andrews University.
