Content Description

Virle R. Neall (1894-1979), served the Seventh-day Adventist Church in business and secretarial work for 19 years. He was educated at Bagwell’s Business College in 1909 and graduated from Southern Training School in 1916. In 1916 to 1917, he served as secretary to Elder I. H. Evans, president of the North American Division, and to Elder A. G. Daniells, president of the General Conference. He served in the Seventh-day Adventist publishing house book depositories in Atlanta, Georgia; South Bend, Indiana; and at the main offices of the Review and Herald Publishing Association in Washington, D.C. He later served as secretary-treasurer of the North Wisconsin Conference and helped audit church books in the New York Conference after his retirement in 1960. He married Marvelle Eastman in 1921, and died August 20, 1979.
