The Seventh-day Adventist Dietetic Association was founded in 1954 and was active until the first decade of the 21st century. One of its goals was to promote excellence in plant based nutrition, and to provide a direction, resources, and guidelines to promote the health-beliefs message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Association functioned as well as a professional organization for Adventists working in the field of nutrition.

At the time this collection was processed, the Association appeared to be non-functioning. Included are governance and minutes as well as officer reports and correspondence.
