Elden Moses Chalmers (1920-1999) worked as a literature evangelist and teacher before serving as a pastor in the Hawaiian, Carolina, and New York Conferences, as well as conference evangelist in Tennessee and Alberta, Canada. He later became a member of the behavioral sciences faculty at Columbia Union College, served as professor at Pacific Union College, and taught pastoral counseling at the SDA Theological Seminary. After his retirement, Chalmers continued his ministry through counseling and public speaking.

Content Description This collection consists of Chalmers’ sermon notes on various topics, a compilation of Bible and Spirit of Prophecy quotations arranged by topic, and the memoirs of a certain Elmer A. Johnson, whose connection with Chalmers is not known.
Dates: 1930s through the 1950s
