This collection consists of Chalmers’ sermon notes on various topics, a compilation of Bible and Spirit of Prophecy quotations arranged by topic, and the memoirs of a certain Elmer A. Johnson, whose connection with Chalmers is not known.

Arrangement

The collection follows the original order of Chalmers. The materials were contained in a series of nine binders. While the original binders have been discarded, each folder in the collection corresponds with an original binder. Most of the sermons are not dated, but occasional dates on a few sermons give a general idea of the dates for some of the binders. While some later material appears, the bulk of the sermons appear to be from the late 1930’s through the 1950’s.
