Yaoxi David Lin (born 1917), a son of a Chinese diplomat of the former Qing dynasty, was a leading administrator of the Seventh-day Adventist church in the People’s Republic of China for over 50 years (1946-present). Lin was a China Division officer at the time of the Communist take over in 1949. He served a number of years in prison for his faith.
