Oliver, Barry David
Person
Barry David Oliver was a doctoral student in the Adventist Studies program at the Andrews University Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary in the last half of the 1980s. His dissertation is entitled, Principles for Reorganization of the Seventh-day Adventist Administrative Structure, 1888-1903: Implications for an International Church. The single most significant source of documentation for Oliver was the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Archives in Washington, DC, now in Maryland. This collection consists of photocopies he requested from the General Conference Archives. The copies were made, free of charge, on the understanding they would be deposited at Andrews University when he finished his dissertation.
