This collection appeared in the midst of a much larger Madison Institutions Collection held at the Center for Adventist Research. The Madison collection came to the Center over the span of many years and from different donors. See the register for the Madison Institutions (Collection 167) for more information. It is not possible to say what is the source of the Gafford poems.
