From the Collection: The Frederick Griggs Papers: Arnold C. Reye Collection contains Frederick Griggs’ correspondence from 1892 to 1949, and several other documents regarding his life and work. This collection is a significant portion of the material Reye collected during his dissertation research. His dissertation is entitled, Frederick Griggs: Seventh-day Adventist Educator and Administrator. Besides Griggs’ correspondence we find in the collection: Blanche Griggs’ diaries from 1916 to 1923 (incomplete); the manuscript “Frederick Griggs, Man of Vision, Molder of Lives” by M. C. Kuhn; “A report on F. Griggs’ Educational Theory,” by Arnold C. Reye; Memorials on F. Griggs from several individuals (Reye’s correspondence); and other documents related to him.
